First Peoples' Festival May 11, 2015
We had such a wonderful opportunity to go to the First Peoples' Festival this week, at the Museum of Anthropology. Here are some of the photos I took during the activities.
Looking Back on Summer (Sept 2013)
Students in Division 26 designed sunglasses that reflected some of their favourite summer experiences. This was our first art project of the fall. It's a great way of seeing what the students enjoyed doing over the summer. Thanks for sharing your memories!
Lights, Water, Drums! Lantern Festival
Papier Mache Lanterns (January)
Science Pangaea Projects (November)
Hallowe'en Art Project: 3-D Torn Paper Collages
September Art & Health & Career Project
Students reviewed the Hastings Code of Conduct in September, reminding themselves of our school expectations of "Take Care of Yourself", "Take Care of Others", and "Take Care of This Place". These were their artistic expressions of the "do"s and "don't"s of the Take Care Of ideas.
"Looking Back On Summer" - Art Project
In September, students used sunglasses templates to show reflections of some of their summer activities. I thought they did a fantastic job with this art project - I'll definitely do this again next year!
