We spent a large portion of the fall term completing a series of journal prompts titled "Thirty Days of Gratitude". Now that we've finished recognizing and acknowledging the many things in life for which we feel gratitude, we're moving on....to recognizing the beauty in our world.
Sometimes, that beauty is huge, obvious and undeniable - the amazing world in which we live, an impressive display of fireworks, a magnificent piece of architecture, the "king of the beasts", or a lovely piece of paradise.
Sometimes, that beauty is huge, obvious and undeniable - the amazing world in which we live, an impressive display of fireworks, a magnificent piece of architecture, the "king of the beasts", or a lovely piece of paradise.
But we are also going to work at recognizing the little things in our everyday lives that ALSO are beautiful - a flower in a garden, a smile from a friend, a helping hand when you drop something, the satisfaction of finishing an assignment on time, sunshine on a Monday, the joy of having breakfast ready for you when you wake up. Get ready to enjoy the beautiful things in every day life, Division 26!
