Teamwork. Trust. Together. Amazing what you can all accomplish when you work together and believe in each other. :)

Today we watched some pretty funny grammar videos in class. No, don't doubt your eyes - you really read that sentence! And they *were* funny.....and actually taught us something too! I thought I'd share a couple of them here, so that you could find them again. And bonus points to you if you can use any of the four adjectives (supercilious, preposterous, precocious, cantankerous) correctly in a comment! (many thanks to Mrs. Burkett for introducing me to TingoEd Vocab Videos!) We're on our way to the Vancouver Art Gallery this week, to see the exhibit of works by renowned Haida Artist Charles Edenshaw. I'm very excited about this trip, and we'll definitely post some reactions to his work (we're not allowed to take photographs in the art gallery).
Here's a link to a website provided by the Vancouver Art Gallery, with lots of fantastic information about Charles Edenshaw, as well as photos of his work. Enjoy! http://projects.vanartgallery.bc.ca/edenshaw/ One of my favourite video contributers, as you all know, is Kid President. Here's one of his posts from September, but I thought it really applied to now. Enjoy! (and feel free to comment too). |
